International Thanksgiving Signup on Monday!

You will be able to sign up for our International Potluck on Monday 16th Nov, 11am at the AUSA reception desk on the second floor of the Hub. The Potluck is free for all members but places are limited and you must bring a dish of food from your home country! So come along and enjoy a great selection of international food!

International Thanksgiving Potluck on Saturday!

All this essay work has made you hungry?! Be sure to go to the AUSA reception desk on the second floor of the Hub to sign up for Saturday's Potluck (at 6pm). It's free but bring a dish of food or something that looks remotely like food from your home country! We end up with a big buffet (rumour has it some deep fried mars bars too)....plus some chillaxin. A great night and nothing hard core, bring alcohol if you wish otherwise enjoy the company and calories!
Edinburgh Christmas Market and Hoodies

Tickets for our trip to Edinburgh next Saturday go on sale at the AUSA reception desk in the Hub on Monday at 11am. This is a popular trip and we are only taking one bus so be sure to be at the ticket sale on time! We will be visiting Edinburgh castle and then spending the afternoon at the Christmas market for some gluhwein and whisky. Also everyone who ordered a society hoody will be able to pick it up on Monday between noon and 2pm at the societies room in the Hub.

Pick up your society memberships at the Re-Freshers Fayre in Elphinstone Hall on Tuesday, our committee meeting on Tuesday at 6.15pm in New King's 11 or at the Introductory Meeting on Sunday at 7pm in New King's 6!

Loch Ness Ticket Sale on Monday!

Tickets for our trip to Loch Ness go on sale on Monday at 11am at the AUSA reception desk on the top floor of the Hub! Tickets cost £26 each and we are limited to 100 places. We've had a lot of interest so we strongly recommend being at the sale on time to make sure you get a ticket!

We finally managed to see Nessie by using Duncan as bait! After having the perfect weather to explore Urquhart Castle and take a boat across the loch, we stopped at Baxter's for their famous pancakes!

Change of Movie for Sunday

Unfortunately we couldn't get a copy of the Swedish movie 'Fucking Amal' in time for Sunday so we have decided to show the popular vampire movie 'Låt den rätte komma in' or 'Let The Right One In' instead. The movie will be shown in Swedish with English subtitles at the usual time, 7pm on Sunday in New King's 6.
Intersoc Ceilidh 2010 - Get your tickets cheaper in advance!

We will begin selling tickets for our Ceilidh on Tuesday at the AUSA reception desk in the Hub. If you are an Intersoc member you will get your ticket for the discounted price of £4. Tickets will also be available at the Ceilidh but will cost £6. The event is open to everyone so bring along all your friends, this is one of the highlights of our society year!
Carbisdale Castle Ticket Sale on Monday

Tickets for our weekend trip to Carbisdale Castle will go on sale at the AUSA reception desk on the top floor of the Hub at 11am on Monday 15th March.
